Moving out! Fuori Salone 2012

The outdoors as an integrated project: the concept that forms the base of Moving Out! the exhibition dedicated to new trends in indoor-outdoor living, which aroused great interest from the crowd of professionals and the public at FuoriSalone 2012. There were more than 5,000 guests, an international crowd which expressed great appreciation for both the installation and the perfect integration of the companies present.
It was set in a prestigious location: the former San Carpoforo church, a picturesque location suited to highlighting the characteristics of the exhibitions and the modern products.
Moving out! has evolved from a specific idea: taking the joy of living in cared-for environments outside, that is, to gardens, squares and onto our terraces and into our parks – the fruit of a carefully researched decision, which enables comfort and elegance to live harmoniously.
It is the spirit which bore the partnership between IL CASONE (stone facing, flooring and furnishing), FRASSINAGODICIOTTO (design and realisation of outdoor spaces), METALCO (urban furniture and home lines) and PRATIC (awnings and pergolas for outdoor use).
The four companies were at Fuori Salone 2012 in an unprecedented exhibition that fuses design experience, excellent raw materials and innovative products, which have been designed to provide the same level of comfort and attention to detail that characterise our homes’ interiors, but for the outdoor environment. From paving textures to chaise lounges, from the choice of greenery to a décor that is as welcoming as possible, no element is chosen to be part of the outdoor environment because of its individual merit, but instead because it fits into an astute overall vision, driven by Frassinagodiciotto’s experience in the design of outdoor spaces. Moving out! is therefore an invitation to get back to nature, but also and especially to reinvent the concept the outdoor space, making it an integral part of our daily lives. The exhibition is set in a prestigious location: the former San Carpoforo church, at the heart of the Brera district - a reference of Milanese design and the area with the highest density of showrooms, galleries, venues and spaces dedicated to art and culture.
Moving out! welcomes visitors as soon as they arrive in the square in front of the church, with an open-air oasis that invites you to relax.
In the most spectacular part of the former San Carpoforo church (the transept and apse), 4 different environments have been created, each of which representing a different space where indoor-outdoor living can be enjoyed.
