Mechanic resistance, resistance to atmospheric agents and to human feet: these are the characteristics that make it possible to use pietra serena in different situations, from outdoors environments to pathways to urban furnishing. This is why Il Casone's stones are increasingly being used in outdoor contexts of contemporary style, such as the one proposed by Frassinagodiciotto at Giardini & Terrazze 2010, the exhibition-market dedicated to plants, flowers and gardening technologies which took place in Bologna, in May.
Materica, the concept presented here, proposes a new relationship between green and building, the result of the fusion of MATTER, concrete, heavy, rigid, and VEGETATION, light, soft, colored. On the background: pietra serena, Extraforte and Colombino, in three different finishings, flamed, polished and sandblasted, to create new and unusual perspectives.
