In September 2009 , the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ferrara began delivering a new degree course in Industrial Product Design.
The official launch of the course will take place on November 5th, 2009 at 5 pm in the Faculty’s Great Hall, when the architect and designer, Michele De Lucchi, will deliver the inaugural lecture, entitled "Our horrible, wonderful customers," with an address by the Dean, Professor Graziano Trippa, and a presentation by Professor Alfonso Acocella.
Another two sessions are to be held on November 18th and December 9th, at 5 pm in the Great Hall, respectively: a lecture by Francesco Dal Co, "Frank Lloyd Wright and Japan,” and the presentation of Marco Mulazzani's book, "Ipostudio. La concretezza della Modernità" (Ipostudio. The tangibility of modernity), by Carlo Magnani.
The series of lectures, staged by the University of Ferrara, is being staged under the patronage of the Fondazione Architetti di Ferrara.
