연마 처리 석재의 특징적인 높은 불투명성을 유지하면서 석판 표면을 완전히 매끄럽고 편평하게 만드는 처리. 석판은 끝에 날이 달린 회전 기기 아래를 통과하면서 연마되는데, 물과 함께 사용하는 경우 암석이 “깎이게 된다.” 이러한 방식으로 처리된 석판은 외부 정면건축 및 내부 바닥에 사용된다.

불꽃 처리 고온의 불꽃을 석판 위로 통과시키는 열처리이다. 이 처리를 거친 표면은 거칠고 윤이 난다. 이 처리 과정은 외부 정면건축이나 사람들의 발걸음이 많이 닿을 것이라 예상되는 곳에 사용된다.

부시해머 처리 원료 석재에 사용된 처리와 유사한 처리로서, 이 과정을 거친 석재 표면은 거칠고, 우둘투둘하며, 둥근 홈이 패이며 특히 야외에 사용하기에 적합하다. 이러한 표면은 끝이 피라미드 모양으로 뾰족한 부시해머를 수공으로나 기계로 사용하여 얻어진다.

끌 처리 내부 및 외부에 사용되는 거친 표면의 전통적인 처리 방법이다. 빗살 무늬의 날이 부착된 연장으로 수공 또는 기계로 이루어지는 가공 방식이다.

홈 처리 원료 석재나 부분적 마감 석재에 사용되는 처리 방식으로서 석판에도 사용가능하다. 석재의 사용 목적에 따라 다양한 너비와 깊이로 제품에 홈을 파는 처리이다.

분사 처리 모래나 다른 단단한 물질로 이루어진 마모성 혼합물을 고온 및 고속으로 분사하는 기계적 압력 처리이다. 이 처리로 얻게 되는 표면은 거칠지만 날카로운 데가 없으며 심한 요철 부분이 없다. 정면건축 용 석판에 주로 사용되며, 기존의 석판을 닦거나 퇴적물을 제거하는 데에 사용되기도 한다.

Undulating but nevertheless extremely smooth and insubstantial to the touch, the surface area is the result of special work on the slabs, which are first rough hewn mechanically and then brushed to remove any imperfections from the stone. damask Shiny-opaque: the beautiful effect of the damask seems to create a second skin on the surface of the stone, which becomes more luminous, a somewhat cold but vivid colour with slight bordering on metallic nuances. Deliberately imperfect, the micro porous weave is achieved by means of mechanical micro sandblasting. Use: Exteriors and interiors

knobbly Irregular, imperfect and discontinuous, this texture has a weave that is simultaneously coarse and clean, decisively material to the touch. This effect is achieved with a three-phase treatment, which, after the rough hewing of the slab, almost "sculpts" the stone with the bush hammering, creating very tiny cracks, which are then cleaned again with high-pressure water jets. The stone thus takes on a more decisive colour and a more consistent grain. Use: Exteriors and interiors

cotton Slightly rippled, this texture is smooth to the touch. The surface area is undulating, almost crumpled, but extremely clean, and smooth in the weave. After the rough hewing and bush hammering (with nozzles), the slabs are finally brushed and it is the latter treatment that gives the stone the "naturally" wavy texture, reminiscent of cotton. brocade Surface area worked upon to obtain a 3D effect. The small, continuous and regular reliefs are what distinguish the brocade. These slight depressions are obtained by sandblasting, followed by light brushing, which deliberately leaves residues on the surface area. Despite having an "orange peel" texture, it does not have a coarse effect, resulting, on the contrary, in a pleasantly smooth surface. Use: Exteriors and interiors

hemp Coarse, almost sharp, the strength of hemp is in its marked materiality. The texture is rough and grainy, while the weave is achieved with a fine point roller, which vertically scores the surface area of the stone. Use: Exteriors and interiors

톱질 처리 다이아몬드 날이나 원반으로 절단하여 표면을 살짝 거칠게 만드는 처리 방법이다. 절단 표면을 따라 약간 굽이치면서 절단하는 방식이다. 이 처리 방식으로 마감된 석판은 외부나 내부 바닥재로 사용된다.
